Character (Original Universe)
Name: Bulma Briefs
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Canon: Dragon Ball Z
Canon Point: Right after her return from Planet Namek
History: Listed under "Biography"
Personality:
The daughter of a genius inventor, Bulma is often times a very hard-headed, stubborn, brash, overconfident, and loud-mouthed girl. She is known for being quite intelligent, given her knack for problem solving and creating the Dragon Radar all on her own. The Dragon Radar is an invention she created in order to track the resonance of the Dragon Balls when she was only 14, and since then and after her meeting with Goku, she has created a time machine, a number of gravity training devices, and a wealth of handy tools that make every day life all the more comfortable. This sort of genuis-mentality also makes her super competitive, resulting in her wishing to prove others wrong when they question her ability. This is shown during a point in the series where the main characters are trying to find a way to travel to Planet Namek and are unsure if Bulma is able to repair an ancient space ship or not. Kuilin's remarks about how uncertain it seems that Bulma can repair it enrages her, to the point where she spends every waking hour trying to get the ship in tip-top condition, all the while not realizing that Kuilin's words were purposefully stated due to knowing that she's got such a defiant edge to her personality. This can also be perceived as her being over-confident, as the smallest word or challenge causes her to drive head first into trying to prove the other party wrong. She seems to put a lot of weight and pride into her intelligence, as if trying to compete with how smart her own Father is.
Bulma is also known for being rather "boy crazy", even at her age. She's easily smitten with a masculine face, and from cited examples in canon, prefers a man with "short cut hair and muscles that can hold a helpless girl tight to their chest." She has, on more than one occasion, been kidnapped or trapped due to a villain fitting this sought-after description. Hearts will form in her eyes, she'll swoon, and the next thing she knows she's either in chains or stuck in a pit or dungeon. The sole purpose of her initial journey with Goku is to make a wish to the Great Dragon that she be gifted a handsome boyfriend of her own. It fuels a lot of what she does at the beginning of the story, and her unfortunate luck often puts her with men that might fit the role physically. This also results in her target turning out to be nothing more than flash and smooth words. This is shown during the encounter between Zarbon and Vegeta on Planet Namek. Regardless of being in danger, she cannot help but fall for Zarbon's good looks while she is in the middle of the fight between them, gushing over how handsome he is while he fights Vegeta for the Dragon Balls she is hiding. However, her affections don't last long as she watches Zarbon transform into a beast-like monster, which instantly snaps her out of her daze.
Despite these flaws, Bulma has a very strong resolve, seldom giving up when things seem their bleakest or worst. This is true even when she was standing in the presence of Freezer's best men who threatened to steal the Namekian Dragon Balls away from her. In this case of being cornered by two of Freezer's soldiers, Blueberry and Raspberry, her quick thinking helps lead to her freedom. Under their capture after attempting to track down a lost Dragon Ball, Bulma manages to trick the soldiers by luring them to the nest of a giant crab she encountered during her search, narrowly escaping from them in time as the crab makes a meal of them. It shows that she is able to be resourceful and use her wits when she's at a disadvantage when it comes to muscles. Often times she'll use her limitless supply of Capsules, but other times she's enacted clever plans, such as the one listed above, to make her way out of a tight spot. Her strong resolve is also seen in her inventing, creating incredible devices and tools without so much as a thought of giving up while she works tirelessly on her task. Later in Bulma's timeline, in a future where many of Earth's heroes have been murdered by a pair of power-hungry androids, Bulma attempts to create a time machine in which to send her only Son, Trunks, back to the past to prevent Goku from dying. Countless assaults on her home and the looming threat of the androids don't cause Bulma to cease her efforts, knowing the fate of their world hangs in the balance with every drop of sweat and blood she puts into the machine.
Bulma also has a knack for being bossy. Most interactions with the other characters in Dragon Ball Z have Bulma lording over the other characters, making them perform menial tasks or fulfilling her requests without room for argument. In the case of the fighters heading to Namek, Bulma wastes no time in putting Kuilin and Gohan to work in carrying luggage and performing chores around the ship. When they land on Namek, she's even faster in having the pair leap to her defense when they are greeted by a patrol of Freezer's men. Very few people actually will stand against her, even some of the strongest fighters in the Z universe dare not test her ire. Vegeta himself, known for being the sort of man who would kill a person for raising their voice in front of him, is made silent when Bulma loses her temper in front of him.
Third-Person Sample:
"Are you KIDDING me?! Look, BUSTER! I just had my hair done, I was SUPPOSED to have a date lined up with this hunky guy, but NOOOOOOO~!! Here I am standing in some BACK WOODS, COUNTRY BUMPKIN HELL HOLE with a flying rodent that can't rightly explain why I've been BROUGHT HERE! If this is someone's cruel idea of a joke, well- I'M NOT LAUGHING!"
The emerald haired female stands with both arms jutting at her sides. Tightly clenched fists suggest that her temper is well past the point of erupting, given the amount of smoke that billows out of her ears after such an explosion of shouting and yelling.
The meek and frightened Moogle covers his face with his paws, looking away from the enraged woman while trying to desperately choose words that might extinguish her rage. Slowly it cocks its head back to look at her, as if a nervous twitch had begun to develop in its neck.
"B-But.. Miss-! Sero.. Serori can't answer-.."
"Can it, squirt! I'm tired of excuses! First, this here Miss is going to find herself a roof to sleep under. Then, tomorrow morning, we're going to get me back to where I belong, got it?!"
The Moogle can only nod its head in haste, knowing full well that the woman's demands would never be fulfilled. Her anger subsides almost instantly, a deep breath of air being pushed from her lungs as she settles her hands on her hips. Getting the initial frustrations out lifted a lot of her spirits, even if she maintains an unpleasant scowl on her face.
"Where's a good place to eat around here? I can't go to sleep on an empty stomach. There wouldn't happen to be a Dino Cap shop in town here, would there? I should probably buy some essentials if we're going to be traveling far. You're supposed to help me, right? A whole lotta' good you'll be if you can't even answer that for me."
Mognet Sample:
To the other unfortunate souls here in Aquares Ixen,
What sort of technology are people using here? No one seems to know what capsules are, let alone what a computer or radar is. Is this place like something out of a Dragon Quest game? Don't tell me I've been dragged into some sort of VR simulation. If that's the case, whoever built this place did a really shoddy job of it. The locals aren't at all interesting and the food here doesn't taste good at all.
What's a girl have to do to get some good lodging and some new clothes, too? Or is everything here made to make people look like they're rejects from gritty fairy tales?

Limit Break: Dino Caps: Bulma summons forth a pillbox filled with capsules that can be used for dire emergencies. Working off of a numbered series of capsules, a random number is drawn and the result is the capsule chosen for use. The number of capsules range from 1 to 20, from simple house hold objects to weapons and survival gear. A list will be written at a later date, i.e. if Bulma is accepted.
REVISIONS REQUEST
- We would like to see the list for Bulma's limit break written ahead of time, as well as limitation being put on it. As it is, without a list and limitations, the use of this limit break could be potentially broken.

Re: REVISIONS REQUEST
When Bulma's Limit Break hits, a 1d17 is rolled on a dice generator, which designates which capsule Bulma is able to grab and release in a hurried manner. The result of which is taken from this list.
Amendment: Bulma only has 17 capsules at her disposal. Once a capsule is used, given the nature of how things work in Aquares Ixen, it is gone for good unless she canon updates or by some stroke of luck receives an item regain. This does not apply to capsules 1, 5, 12, or 15 as they can be reused. In the case of those four different Capsules, Bulma pushes a button located on the specific item and it reverts back into a Capsule for future use. The 17 different capsules are listed as follows -
1. Capsule House: A small shelter large enough to fit a family of 4. Can be used as a shelter in the wilderness. Runs off of its own electricity, with running water, heat, and air conditioning. Doors and windows can be locked like a normal house. Acts as a "Tent" item from the Final Fantasy games then disappears for purposes of Combat.
2. Electric Rice Cooker: Provides rice for a single target. Acts as a cast of "Cure" to a single target, or can be used as an item or melee weapon.
3. Rice Kettle: Provides rice for multiple targets. Acts as a cast of "Cure" to a party, or can be used as an item or melee weapon.
4. "Silverstar 4": A hovercar that can travel great distances in place of a Chocobo or Airship. It has enough gasoline to travel between two points in a single trip.
5. Penguin 5 Fridge: A small refridgerator that can be used to store objects. Casts "Ice" magic to a single target of varying strengths based upon a 1d3 dice roll. Can be used as an item or a melee object.
6. Archeological Evacuation Robot: An older style robot than can perform basic tasks in regards to searching, excavating, and evacuating for the purposes of archeological research. Said robot is unable to perform any actual combat skills, but can act as a shield for a single attack before it is destroyed.
7. Power Suit: A mechanized suit that grants Bulma extra protection and great combat capabilities. This power suit has enough battery life to last for 3 minutes of time before it shuts down completely. The suit has two robotic arms and a main gun turret that can fire 4 canonfire shots before it is depleated.
8. Boat: A small four-person motorboat that can be used in the water.
9. Motorcycle: A basic vehicle that can last much longer than the hovercar. However, it can not go over certain types of terrain.
10. Scouter: An eyepiece that allows the wearer to detect the power level of a target they are looking at. Effectively acts like "Sense" from Final Fantasy VII.
11. Airplane: A small 3 person plane that has enough fuel to travel between two points, back and forth, on the world map. It has no combat capabilities.
12. Camping Equipment: A series of pots, pans, sleeping bags, and other necessities one would typically bring with them for a camping trip.
13. Kitchen ware/Dinette Set: Everything needed to have a dinner party, save the food and tables.
14. Satchel w/ Weapons: A survival pack with x2 handguns each w/ 12 rounds of ammunition, and an automatic rifle with 20 rounds of ammunition. Once each weapon is spent of their shots, there is nothing more for them to be reloaded.
15. Item Storage: A building which houses numerous items Bulma has collected through her journeys. This storage building is as large as the Capsule House, and holds many of Bulma's famous belongings. She only has access to it for a short moment so her time in either depositing new items or withdrawing a necessary item is a very small window. This allows Bulma to retrieve any items listed on the Capsule list, so it effectively acts as a "Wild Card", but also allows her to deposit any items she may be carrying for safe keeping.
16. A bag of Senzu Beans: Crafted by the wise Kirin, Senzu Beans are able to fully recover the health and condition of any who eats one. x4 Senzu Beans are in the bag, and can restore a person from a simple cold to some one who is within inches of death.
17. Tools: A box of tools that can be used for purposes of inventing, repair, and other mechanical needs. A wrench and hammer can be pulled from the tool box to be used as weapons or items for purposes of combat and/or scene use.
REVISIONS REQUEST
- We would like to see some of the biggest regains reduced in size or usefulness, or adapted to the setting (such as making the shelter into a literal tent). Furthermore, the robot, item storage or airplane cannot stay.
- We would like to see "useless" capsules added, in equal number to the useful ones: such as capsules containing empty potions or 1 Gil, for the sake of making the limit break more balanced.
