Because this sample is set on Mognet, you cannot link a sample from a previous game or musebox. Furthermore, it has to be something written dictated or written by your character, not something the Moogle did on its own.

Character (Original Universe)
Name: Keith Kogane
Age: Late Teens
Gender: Male
Canon: Voltron Legendary Defender
Canon Point: After the end of Season 1 and getting thrown through a corrupted wormhole.
History: http://voltron.wikia.com/wiki/Keith_(Legendary_Defender)

Personality: Keith is a young man who is driven, but directionless. Orphaned at a young age, he bounced from foster home to foster home before finally ending up at Galaxy Garrison. Garrison was a military school thought sought to push humanity’s dreams to the stars. It was also Keith’s first chance to strike out on his own. His instincts in fighting and flying had him soaring up the ranks, but his inability to understand social cues or play well with others hindered his chances at actually keeping his new wings. It wasn’t that Keith was arrogant. His scores more than spoke for his skills, but he saw no reason to cut corners or curb his tongue with his team mates. If a person screwed up, they were called on it. If regulations hindered his ability to complete a mission, he ignored. If a person was dead weight. . . well, he’d learned that lesson himself when he was dumped on the orphanage. You had to keep moving forward, rolling with the punches if you wanted to survive. Regulations were there to be followed, and he wouldn’t bend to each instructors’ particular interpretation of the rules just to make them happy.

His drive got him results, but his inability to play nice had him on the edge of being tossed out. At least until he was taken under the wing of Shirogane Takashi, Shiro, an older pilot that was favored at Garrison for his skills and likable personality. They didn’t mesh well at first. Keith still didn’t understand why being teammates automatically required everyone to wear their hearts on their sleeves. Late night truth and dare wouldn’t keep them alive on the battle field, or keep their ships pressurized during an accident in deep space. However, Shiro managed to break his way through Keith’s shell and form one of the first meaningful bonds he’d ever known. Under the older man’s tutelage, Keith managed to hone his directionless energy to the top of the class. It worked well, until the Kerebos Mission. When Shiro was chosen as a pilot it was the cause of much celebration. A year or more out in deep space would be difficult, not to mention dangerous, but it would be worth it to be one of the first humans to exit the solar system. After a somber goodbye Keith waited eagerly for news, only to receive the shock of a lifetime when the Garrison declared Shiro and the whole crew dead due to pilot error. Pilot error, from one of the greatest pilots that Garrison had ever produced.

Keith refused to accept it. When he threatened the top brass for answers they threatened him with expulsion. He responded with a right hook to Commander Iverson’s face before booking it out on a stolen hover bike. Garrison lost his respect when they decided to lose their minds. If they were going to stick their heads in the god damned sand then he refused to be the next sacrificial lamb for their bullshit.

For the next year Keith drifted in the desert, directionless once more and desperate to find something, anything to hold onto. The first person he’d let in had disappeared and the people and rules that were supposed to support him and had instead dragged his name through the mud. The only thing that kept him going was a mysterious energy that called to him through the desert. Following his gut, he responded to the pull until he found a series of mysterious caves. These caves told him about a mysterious and an arrival. One year later that led him back to alien ship crash landing in the desert, a hasty rescue mission, a couple of Garrsion Cadet playing hooky, and the discovery of the Castle of Lions.

Transported a million light years away from the only stars he’d known, Keith finally found purpose in Voltron as the paladin of the red lion and a defender of the universe. It had also brought him back to Shiro, who turns out had been kidnapped and held prisoner by the same Galra that threatened the universe. It helped give Keith’s new mission to free the universe from Zarkon a more personal need. However, Keith’s drive for the mission once again put him at odd with his teammates.

When Pidge, the green paladin, tried to leave the team in search of her missing family Keith berated her for abandoning the mission, for abandoning the other family’s of the universe just to selfishly save her own. This was her duty now, and if she wasn’t willing to handle it then she shouldn’t have come along in the first place. Situations occurred to draw Pidge back into the team on her own and the matter was dropped, until an infiltration mission gone south ended up with Princess Allura herself to be captured. Imprisoned at the heart of the Galra empire, the paladins never the less were raring to go save her. All that was, except Keith. He argued that it was foolish to go against Zarkon with their meagre supplies. They hadn’t even been in this war a week yet, and they wanted to practically hand Voltron over to Zarkon on a silver platter?! It was meaningless, suicide. But once more he was shouted down, this time by Shiro. And he . . he couldn’t go against Shiro. Not when he’d just gotten his friend back. Not when that same friend was so riddled with guilt for letting another team mate fall into Galra hands. So he relented, only to watch the whole fight quickly go to hell.

Voltron was broken as soon as it formed. Shiro was ejected from his lion. A swarm of drones attacked them and kept them from retreating, and Zarkon himself came out to claim the black lion for himself. The black lion. The head of Voltron. Shiro’s lion. As Zarkon stepped out on his own to claim the lion. Keith saw many things. He saw an opportunity to end the war, to finish his mission, for good. He saw the need to protect the black lion, and therefore Voltron, from falling into enemy hands. He saw the bastard who was responsible for taking away one of the first friend’s he’d ever had. He saw red. His instincts drove him to go for the kill, his lion followed. The battle was decidedly one sided, far against Keith. But he couldn’t give up. There was no choice but forward. No accepted outcome but victory or death trying. His efforts had him pull powers he’d never seen before, only to nearly die. Only to watch it all crumble anyway when the worm hole collapsed and he was flung away into a sea of stars with only his teammates screams in his ears. He hadn’t been strong enough. . . . He’d failed. . .

Commander Silver Person,

After careful consideration I’ve determined the transports known has chocobos are not some poorman’s horses like I originally thought, nor or they convenient back up rations with legs. The ability to transport over water, mountains and other terrains is very helpful. Thank you for directions out of town. I’ll return once I’ve obtained one of my own. They’re just birds, how hard can it be?

Character (Original Universe)
Name: Keith Kogane

Canon: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Canon Point: After the end of Season 1 and getting thrown through a wormhole.

History: http://voltron.wikia.com/wiki/Keith_(Legendary_Defender)

Personality: Keith was a former ace pilot of the famous Galaxy Garrison. He gained that lofty position due to his keen instincts and natural talent for air craft. His confidence in himself and his abilities frees him from hesitation that would ordinarily cripple a new pilot, allowing him to accomplish impressive maneuvers in both the air and on the battle field. Unfortunately, that same confidence makes it difficult for him to work in group situations. He is quick to point out others mistakes, usually with little tact involved, and struggles to follow social cues from others. This inability to play well with others is what eventually flunked him out of Garrison, much to his distress.

As a goal oriented individual, he struggled on what to do without the purpose that Garrsion offered. He wandered the desert for a while, but eventually followed his instincts until he was drawn to a curious location. He did not question the validity, or really the sanity, of a mysterious energy that called him to search. Keith is an individual who goes with his instincts, and those instincts gave him a new purpose that drove him to scour the desert and get his hands on any information he could to find the answer to the mysterious source. That same drive led him to leading a one man assault on the quarantined landing zone of an alien ship. His confidence in his skills allowed him to pilot an over loaded hover bike out of enemy hands and off the edge of a cliff, with no damages aside from some slightly ill passengers.

Overall Keith usually has a calm demeanor. He is deliberate and thorough in his thoughts and actions, and doesn’t carry out tasks meaninglessly. Unfortunately, that calmness can quickly be over turned when confronted. His surety in his own actions makes it difficult for him to back down when confronted with a differing opinion or if he if or his talents or belittled. This is best exhibited by his friendship/rivalry with Lance, the blue paladin of Voltron. The inability to back down once caused the ace pilot to plow his lion head first into the ground in a refusal to be first own to back down in a game of chicken. Confrontation and a desire to complete his mission also pushed him into a one on one fight with Zarkon, the emperor of the Galra Empire, in spite of desperate pleadings from the rest of his team to back off lest he be killed.

Despite his hot headedness and difficulty with social cues, Keith can be very protective of his teammates once he has warmed up to them. The same relationship that drives Keith and Lance to near blows on a daily basis also drove Keith to rush to his aid when an enemy attack left him near death. He also felt no hesitation throwing himself in the line of fire when an unfortunately timed flash back but his team leader, Shiro, at risk during an unfortunate training exercise. Keith needs to be comfortable with a group of people before he can let loose and laugh a little.

When Keith sets his mind to a goal is completely driven to complete it. When he was in Galaxy Garrison his desire to fly pushed him to the top of his class. When he flunked out due to conduct, his desperation for a new purpose drove him to find everything he could about a mysterious energy that called out in the desert. When a giant blue lion took him through a portal he got his strangest and heaviest mission yet to become the red paladin of Voltron and defeat Zarkon. While the task may seem daunting to most, Keith follows it with seriousness and dedication, one that sometimes steps on his teammates toes. When Pidge, another paladin, announced that she was leaving the team to find her missing family Keith was quick to call her out for abandoning her duties and calling her irresponsible. This sentiment was again repeated when Princess Allura was captured by the Galra. While the rest of the team was all for assaulting the central command of a 10,000 year empire, Keith called for the plan to stop. He saw no point in risking themselves to save Allura with barely a week’s worth of teamwork if it meant risking Voltron falling into Zarkon’s hands. He liked Allura as much as the others, but one life was not worth that of the billions that still depended on them in the rest of the universe.
