Ashelia will reply cooly that it did seem to have worked, and Cid was brought back in one piece - and with his airship. She won't disagree that the whole endeavor was a bit on the mad side, but what's done is done. She'll explain the whole situation as recounted to her by Kidd, including the crystallization of the entire Heran Research Centre; for what it's worth, the place is no longer useable at all. That's something, and could set back the Empire's plans somewhat, as well as the emancipation of Cid and his airship.

Ashelia will then ask what happened to the diplomats sent by Aqures IXen. She assumes they had returned safely from their talks?

He'll agree that the destruction of their research center seems to be a good thing that will impede their plans, even though the fact that it crystallized seems disturbingly similar to what happens to many Heroes of Light.

They all returned safely yes, but the least that can be said is that it was right on time, as things went haywire just after they departed.

Ashelia will assert that the crystallization does give her pause as well - if her contemporaries are to be believed, the process started after a crystal more like one of the elemental crystals reacted negatively in someway. Though the outcome is clearly different, she can't help but draw parallels to the destruction of Aqures Tosf.
