Chiaki's answer will involve explaining that there are many other things, not all of them game-related, that run on electricity in her world and the worlds of many of the other Heroes of Light. If it's possible to develop a general working process for converting crystal energy into electrical power using something relatively small like this, there is the potential to power a lot of different things that people might get back eventually if the technology is shown to work.

She'll also point out that she won the Golden Cards at a Triple Triad tournament, and that she has a feeling they're going to be important later on down the line. They would probably be in the hands of an Imperial player if she didn't dedicate so much time to games.

Jessie will ask Chiaki to speak with the other Heroes of Light and see if many of them have items requiring "electricity" or if they're only a few for now. If a substantial number needs it, she'll consider looking into it.
