I've heard that some people would like more player-run villains around, but I know that's probably difficult if they show up in the same place as a giant mob of heroes without a villainous goal to pursue.

SO WHAT IF. Villainous characters (or characters that could be talked into joining a meaner opposing force) woke up in a different place for future war time shenanigans? I'd suggest the Heran Empire, but as I don't know enough about their IC goals, they might not work.

I think villains might have an easier time of things if they have others with a similar mindset that they can work with, and their own mission objectives issued from "mysterious force" (or not so mysterious as the case may be) to gather resources, get stronger, and beat up a few stupid heroes along the way. I know I'd have a character I could fling into a faction/city like that!

Up to you guys, but if you want someone to brainstorm with or bounce ideas off of, I'd be game for it.

This is extremely helpful information, thank you for the detailed reply! Could I PM a few spoilery villainous concepts your way after the event ends, to see if there are any in particular that work or even suit your fancy? There are three main possibilities, so I'd like to go with what's most feasible.
