Hi there! I've got a question involving a character I might be interested in apping, Rudy from Wild Arms, who fits under the artificial lifeform book.
I get that most of those types would be turned into regular humans, but there's something I want to be sure of real quick. Canon is rather vague on exactly how much of an android he is, but he's already got a visibly flesh and blood human appearance. However, he's made of a different material than normal humans in the setting, known as living metal which... is a sort of metal that looks and feels like human flesh, afaik? And he's implied in the remake to have a blood system that's composed of liquid mercury.
In other words, the biology going on behind him is extremely weird. Weird enough to make a biology major's mind boggle over the sheer weirdness. Would that basically be replaced with a normal human biological system?
The other reason why I'm asking this is because of the weapon he uses, his ARM, which is basically a special type of gun that requires being able to bond with it before being able to use it. Essentially he was built in order to handle those type of weapons. And it's stated in canon that humans can only use those guns if they were born with compatibility.
in summary: if he's humanized, would he still be able to use his weapon? Thanks!
