1) The character Elazul from Legend of Mana isn't a human, and has a semi-external jewel heart, and a crystallized (I headcanoned functional prosthetic, because there isn't much info on it as a whole) right arm. If I app him, does that mean that even those parts of him become human, too?

2) I also have a human character who has a genetic disorder that makes his sensitivity to smells greater than a human's usual capacity (including awful smells, and is invasive to his day-to-day-living,) as well as a considerable anxiety disorder (which is also invasive.) Do those fall into the same categories as diseases and are therefore cured upon arrival? Or could they fall into the handicap category?
